Today I have some bad news, for the few people enjoying this website.
I have decided to go on an indefinite hiatus.
When I started this website, I started it because the comic here were fun...for me, and I wanted to share this with the world. I admit, I dreamed about having xkcd-status, a fan-base, memes or whatnot.
I love reading webcomics, laughing and chuckling, and wanted to replicate this feeling for others with my material, even if it would be only one person viewing it.
But after ~3 years and 500 comics I still have a relative constant view count of 10 people per comic (might be even less) and, although I would be happy to know that these 10 people have a good time (if you guys are the same ones each time, haha), it still is a sort of feedback on the work that flows into making the comics.
Maybe you noticed; I tried to use different techniques, gifs, transpareny, animations on youtube (which were even less successful, yay...), and I think this actually was a good idea.
I want to try out more possibilities, maybe try out more animations, upgrade the quality, change the website entirely, adapt to SEOs better, etc., however, this need a lot of planning and experimenting, and frankly, after drawing the comic, I'm kind of "done" for that day.
In conclusion, I want to come back, and I want to come back swinging, so please, don't forget about Cow, Dog, Squirrel, Bat, and the others, re-read stuff (I have noticed a lot of mistakes btw), or share it with your friends, because every view and every feedback motivates me to invest more time into working on this project.
